ข้อสอบมักจะออกทั้ง 2 รูปเลยนะ ซึ่งเหมาะกับการสื่อสารในขอบข่าย TOEIC เพราะ comprise จะมีความเป็นทางการกว่า consist of ครับ

เช่น "My province comprises 9 districts." จังหวัดของฉันประกอบด้วย 9 อำเภอ
หรือ "My province is comprised of 9 districts." จังหวัดของฉันประกอบด้วย 9 อำเภอ

อาจจะไม่ได้แปลว่า "ประกอบด้วย" แต่ความหมายมันคืออันเดียวกันนั่นแหละ
แปลว่า ทำจาก... หรือ มีส่วนประกอบของ...

be made of ใช้เมื่อประธาน ประกอบด้วยวัสดุหลัก ๆ เพียงอย่างเดียวที่ยังเห็นสภาพของวัสดุชัดเจนเช่น ประตูที่ทำมากจากไม้ กล่องที่ทำจากพลาสติก
เช่น The door is made of wood. ประตูทำมาจากไม้
        The box is made of plastic. กล่องทำมาจากพลาสติก

be made from ใช้เมื่อประธาน ประกอบด้วยวัสดุหรือองค์ประกอบหลาย ๆ อย่างจนไม่รู้เลยว่า มันมีอะไรบ้าง หรือเป็นเนื้อเดียวกับจนไม่เห็นสภาพขององค์ประกอบเดิม เช่นน้ำผลไม้ ซุป แกง เมนูอาหาร ขนม

เช่น 

This sauce is made from flour, sugar, onion, red wine and salt. 

ซอสนี้ประกอบด้วย แป้ง น้ำตาล ไวน์แดง และ เกลือ
